Attendance
| Attendance is so important for students. We always look forward to seeing and servicing our students to help them become successful. If your student is going to be absent, please complete our student attendance form, contact AFS, and/or send a note or documentation to the school. Absences from school are considered lawful or unlawful. After three consecutive unlawful, or a total of five, unlawful absences, a student is considered truant. A student's absence from school is excused by parent notification for a maximum of 10 days. After a student has reached 10 absences (excused or unexcused), doctor, legal, etc., verification is required for additional absences to be considered excused.
